Lance Williams, Executive Director, Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes
This year marks a truly special milestone for all of us at Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes—our 25th anniversary. As the Executive Director, I’m honored to be part of a community that has spent a quarter-century setting the gold standard for senior living in Arizona. It’s a privilege to celebrate this moment with our residents, families, team members, and extended community.
When Robson Senior Living opened the doors to Robson Reserve in 2000, the vision was clear: to create a vibrant, elegant, and supportive environment where older adults could thrive. Today, that vision continues to guide everything we do. Over the past 25 years, we’ve adapted to meet the changing needs of our residents, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care—all with the signature warmth and hospitality that Robson is known for.
What truly sets us apart is the lifestyle we offer. From our beautiful apartments and resort-style amenities to our incredible dining and life enrichment programs, residents don’t just live here, they flourish. Whether it’s chair yoga in the Fitness Center, an afternoon movie in the theater, or happy hour in one of our bars, there’s a shared sense of joy and belonging that’s hard to describe unless you’ve experienced it for yourself.
We’ve also built a strong tradition of celebrating life through memorable events. Our calendar is full of resident favorites—from our annual Western Days BBQ and Holidays at the Reserve parties to classic car shows and wine tastings. I’ve seen firsthand how these gatherings bring people together, forming friendships that make our community feel like family.
Over the years, we’ve taken pride in offering meaningful engagement beyond our walls. Residents have enjoyed trips to places like Sloan Park for Chicago Cubs games, the Martin Auto Museum, and even Cerreta’s Candy Company. And thanks to partnerships like the one we have with the Greater Sun Lakes Community Foundation, we’ve been able to bring programs like HeARTsy to life—using art as a powerful tool for connection and self-expression, especially for those living with cognitive challenges.
As we look ahead, we do so with a deep sense of gratitude for the legacy we’ve built and excitement for the future we’re shaping. The values that have defined Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes—respect, purpose, connection, and hospitality—remain at the heart of our mission. We’re committed to continuing this legacy for years to come, not only here in Sun Lakes but as an inspiration to future Robson communities.
To our residents, families, team members, and friends: Thank you for being part of this remarkable journey. Here’s to 25 incredible years—and to many more filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful living.
Warmly,
Lance Williams
