The Fun Lakers Social Club is ramping up for a full 2025-26 season of fun activities, so grab your calendars and save these dates!

We are kicking the season off on Oct. 2 with a comedy show featuring the very popular Floyd Haas and his star lineup of headliner performers. Prepare to laugh your socks off, and get your tickets early, because this event usually sells out fast. As with all our events, go to our website at www.funlakers.org to purchase tickets and see more details. There will be a cash bar. This event is open to the public, so tell your friends.
Just two weeks later, on Oct. 18, we are hosting the Woodstock Dance, back by popular demand, which includes a lip sync contest. In case you need encouragement to perform, there are cash prizes, so hurry up and get your act together. Go to www.funlakers.org to sign in and register your act on the landing page where it says “Ask a Question or Comment,” or you can just wait until tickets for the event go on sale on Sept. 4 and sign up at that time. As usual for our dances, there will be an open cash bar with select menu items available. Johnny K will provide our music, and this event is also open to the public. Note to lip sync performers: Be sure to plan on the rehearsal date of Thursday, Oct. 16, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Besides Comedy Night and the Woodstock Dance in October, we have Dueling Pianos in November and the Holiday Party in December. Other ongoing activities include Monday Night Mexican Train at 6 p.m. in the Ladies Card Room at Cottonwood. Everyone is welcome, and if you’ve never played, we will teach you.
