Discover the Warmth of Community During Our Cool-Season Outreach Events

Lance Williams, Executive Director

As the Executive Director of Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes, I look forward to this time of year in Arizona—not just for the cooler temperatures, but for the wonderful opportunities it brings to connect with our neighbors. After a long, hot summer, autumn and winter open the door to gathering outdoors, sharing experiences, and celebrating life together. That’s why we are especially excited to invite you to visit our community during one of our many outreach events in the coming months.

Our mission extends beyond serving our residents—we believe in building strong, meaningful connections with the greater community. Whether you’re curious about senior living, supporting a loved one in their search for the right place, or simply looking for a warm and welcoming environment to spend an afternoon, our doors are always open.

During the cooler months, we plan an array of special events designed to bring people together. Picture a lively courtyard filled with the sounds of live music, delicious food and drinks enjoyed poolside, and friendly conversations flowing as neighbors become friends. From our fall concert series to our holiday open house and charity drives, every event is designed with connection, joy, and fun in mind.

These gatherings aren’t just about showcasing our beautiful campus—they’re about creating a space where everyone feels welcome. We want you to see firsthand the vibrant, active lifestyle our residents enjoy each day. You’ll meet our talented culinary team, experience the creativity of our life enrichment staff, and witness the sense of family that makes our community so special.

Our residents often tell me how much they enjoy these outreach events, because they bring new faces, fresh stories, and opportunities to engage with people of all ages. It’s a chance for them to share their passions—whether that’s displaying artwork at our Art Walk, enjoying our karaoke and trivia in our lounge, or supporting a charitable cause close to their heart.

I encourage you to come by, even if you’ve never set foot in a senior living community before. You might be surprised at how vibrant and full of life it is. For many guests, their first visit changes the way they think about senior living—it’s less about “slowing down” and more about living fully, without the burdens of home maintenance and with endless opportunities for social engagement.

So, as the desert air turns crisp and the sunsets become even more breathtaking, I invite you to join us. Come enjoy a warm cup of cocoa, tap your toes to some live music, or simply stroll our grounds and soak in the atmosphere.

You’ll leave with more than just memories—you’ll leave with a better understanding of what community at Robson Reserve at Sun Lakes truly means.
