Save the date! Join us on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an Arts and Crafts Fair and fundraising raffle at Sun Lakes Country Club in the Navajo Room.
The crafters are excited to showcase their great array of items, and this time, we will even have many talented bakers joining us to sell their delicious treats. There will be something for everyone! We will have jewelry, unique and definitely one-of-a-kind holiday décor, upcycled clothing, ceramics, personalized charcuterie boards, wood lathe art, playing card holders, button art, cloisonne art, paintings, cards, painted rocks, sewn items, pet items, and the list goes on!
This is also the very first fundraiser for Weezie’s Helping Hands, a 501(c)(3) located in Sun Lakes that provides adoption and support services for abandoned and lost or found pets and the people who love those pets who may also need assistance.
Come and shop at the Craft Fair and be sure to participate in the fundraising raffle! Area businesses have been incredibly generous with their support and have donated numerous wonderful prizes. We have gift certificates from Safeway, Street Queen Tacos, Culver’s, Lou Malnati’s Floridino’s, Majestic Theater, Portillos, Sunset Nails, Papa Johns, First Watch, and Sun Lakes Computer Services. We have gift baskets and merchandise from Sun Lakes Chandler Animal Clinic, Built by Referral, and Arizona Flower Company; a personalized charcuterie board; autographed Jim Brickman Christmas CDs; and promises of more items from our great community of retailers, which are arriving daily.
Join us to support this local animal foundation and learn about pets available for adoption. Sign up to be a volunteer or a foster home. Bring a can of pet food to help stock their pet food pantry. Participate in the 50/50 raffle or the fundraising raffle.
