Shabbat services will be held on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel. The Festival of Lights, Hanukkah, will be celebrated at that service.
Full services are conducted each month, starting in November, except for July and August, on the second Friday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel. For additional information or to have your questions answered about Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation services, call 480-612-4413.
There are two adult education activities in December. On Dec. 6 “The Origins and Traditions of Hanukkah” will be held. On Dec. 27 the event is titled “Understanding the Torah Portion.” Both events will occur from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
