PVLGA had their final big event of 2025 on Dec. 9. Our holiday party was a fun scramble dressed in our decorative sweaters, Christmas bells, and a few Santa hats. There were lots of winners—too many to list here! The whole idea of the holiday party is to come together with golf friends, enjoy the beautiful weather, and be thankful for all our good fortune in our senior years. We also had a delicious lunch of chicken pasta or spaghetti and meatballs, together with a Caesar salad and red and green cupcakes. Melea Reese told us a beautiful story about love, and Naomi Bryson installed the officers for next year. Mary Nelson, president; Patty Hegenbarth, vice president; Roz Pederson, secretary; and Carol Healy, treasurer.
Our new president is still looking for volunteers to sign up to chair an event for 2026. We are all looking forward to another year of great golf, great friends, and maybe a hole-in-one! Happy New Year, everyone!
