E. Fairway Boulevard is a long-bonded group of neighbors in the HOA 1 community. When COVID-19 halted togetherness, Curt Harper devised and initiated the Fairway Games.
This was a means and method for the camaraderie and closeness to continue at a safe distance. The first game was tic-tac-toe, which was played on their respective driveways. Simple rules: The winner posts a handmade sign of their achievement in their yard, and the loser picks the game and hosts the next Fairway Games event.
The games are no holds barred and really no limits except make it fun. We have continued this happy tradition for over five years, and it’s still going strong.
Our most current winners of the axe throwing game were Jan Cartier and José Reyes on Dec. 3. Congrats, and we can’t wait for the next Fairway Games challenge and party.
