Velkommen! Scandinavians will be holding their first meeting of 2026 on Sunday, Jan. 18. If you are Scandinavian or interested in Scandinavia, come and join us. We will be meeting in the Saguaro Room of Cottonwood Country Club. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with a luncheon featuring sandwiches starting at noon. A short meeting led by our president Don Hofstrand will begin at 12:45 p.m., and a delightful program will begin at 1 p.m.
Jana Peterson, who is profoundly Norwegian, will be presenting a PowerPoint presentation of three museums she has visited in Reykjavik, Oslo, and Borg. She will also speak about Viking heritage and customs and rules they followed. A lovely selection of her prints, paintings, and jewelry will be displayed and available for purchase.
