The Sun Lakes Pickleball Club-IronOaks is the proud host of the Fourth Annual Pickle Barrel Classic, a premier tournament held at the IronOaks Racquet Center, one of Central Arizona’s finest facilities. This exciting tournament, which began in 2023, has quickly grown into a must-attend event for the local pickleball community.
The tournament typically features Men’s, Ladies’, and Mixed Doubles brackets, offering exciting competition across various skill levels, from 2.5 to 4.0+. It draws hundreds of players and enthusiasts from all Sun Lakes communities and surrounding areas, including Solera, Springfield, and SunBird.
Beyond the competitive matches on the courts, the event is a true community gathering. Spectators enjoy daily raffle prizes, a 50/50 cash drawing, refreshments, and an array of vendors. The Classic serves as a great showcase for the sport’s energy and camaraderie, with proceeds benefiting the Sun Lakes Pickleball Club-IronOaks and its continued growth.
