On Jan. 13 at our luncheon and meeting, the Ringer winners were announced. Margaret Battista was given the glory of our Most Improved Player.
On Jan. 20 we had our Cottonverde Golf Tournament. We had a good time playing golf with our Cottonwood golf friends.
First-place winners were Mary Lou Jones, Kay Berner, Kathleen Aasand, and Cathy Brugger.
Closet to the pin on hole 8 was Sandra Labute and on hole 12 it was Denise Orthen. Barb Smith had the longest putt on hole 6, and Gloria Combs had the longest putt on hole 18.
We played Beat the Pro on Feb. 3. The results were great for our players—not so much for the pro.
We are in the middle of our Presidents Cup, so results will be coming next month.
