Linux: What Is It? Should I Switch?

Helen Seaton

Linux is an open-source operating system that will run on just about any hardware. Many are considering Linux instead of Windows or Mac due to its compatibility with older systems and resources. Join us April 14 at 1 p.m. as we take a look at Linux. We will discuss why some are switching to Linux as their primary operating system, along with some of the pros and cons of doing so. Following the discussion, there will be a demonstration of Linux Mint 22.3, along with a Q&A. The meeting will be held in the Cottonwood Country Club Computer Learning Center.
