If you are new to the community or would like to spend some time on the golf course, why not join MOGA? Our Thursday games are a good way to meet some new friends. You don’t have to be a resident of IronOaks to join our group. We have more than 370 active and handicap-only members, with golfers at every level. MOGA has an event each Thursday throughout the year. Over $17,000 in chits were paid out to participants in 2025. That number will be exceeded in 2026. Join MOGA, meet some new friends, play a variety of team and individual games each week, and maybe put some money in your pocket.
April Events:
• Oakwood Member/Guest this year will be held as a two-day event starting on April 1.
• Beat the Pro (Mark Thesing) will be held on April 16.
• Shootout qualifiers will continue, with at least one event per month.
Local Rules: (Oakwood Local Golf Rules)
Lost Ball or Out Of Bounds: For a penalty of two strokes, a player may drop a ball perpendicular to the point where the ball crossed out of bounds to two club lengths into the fairway no closer to the hole. Be advised, during certain tournaments, playing a provisional off the tee will be required.
