The Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse recently received awards from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office recognizing volunteers, reserve officers, possemen, and cadets. The ceremony was held on Feb. 27 in Glendale, and the Sun Lakes Posse was presented the following awards:
Years of Service Award: Commander Craig Lloyd, 20-plus years of service
Outstanding Service 2025: Posseman Stephen Brown
Humanitarian Award 2025: Posseman Ken Hinatsu
Community Outreach Posse of the Year 2024 and 2025
Humanitarian Posse of the Year 2025
