During the first weekend of March, the club was honored to exhibit our modules at the Arizona Railroad Museum Open House in Chandler. During the “cooler months,” we typically operate a couple of model railroad layouts in a boxcar at the museum. But whenever there is an Open House, we up our game and also display our modules inside of a passenger car. Our most recent big display was at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale on March 15. For those of you who are unaware, the Arizona Railroad Museum is located just north of Queen Creek Road on Arizona Avenue. It’s actually south of Tumbleweed Park. It is a fun place to visit, but the hours vary, so be sure to check the website at azrymuseum.org. There’s lots of really good stuff to see.
