Thinking of joining a golf league this year? Cottonwood Ladies Golf Association (CLGA) will be at the Cottonwood/Palo Verde Community Day Open House on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 to 11 a.m. with all the information you need to sign up. One member of CLGA able to answer your questions is Trudy Houghton, the league’s Member at Large/Membership Chair. Trudy described her position as a chance to welcome new members, and ease their transition into the club. Her duties also include gathering feedback, suggestions, and concerns from current members to help strengthen CLGA. Trudy added “I love CLGA because it offers a built-in social connection, consistent playing time to improve skills and an opportunity to share laughs and encouragement. We welcome all new members, whether your golf level is novice or experienced.”
