Our summer break is over. So come join the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) East Valley Chapter on Thursday, Oct. 8 from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. at the Sun Lakes United Methodist Church. Chapter V.P. and H.O.P.E. moderator, Roz Seibold, will lead an open discussion on “Hearing Loss and Our Summer Challenges.” Summer is a great time to get away and to travel to see family and friends. But as we travel, whether by car, bus, train, plane, or ship, people with hearing loss may encounter some difficulties. As we do monthly in our H.O.P.E. (Hearing Other People’s Experiences) discussions, we will offer an opportunity for you to discuss your summer experiences and your strategies used in challenging situations. In addition, we will hear some interesting information about the 2026 HLAA National Convention. So please join us!
