Free Wood Carving Patterns and Supplies

Dianne Winenger

Sadly, it’s the end of an era for the woodcarvers who have created so many beautiful pieces of art over the years. The club began in 1985 with as many as 40 carvers at a time creating either the same design or one of their own ideas. But, as with everything, life changes and people move on in different ways.

Perhaps walking past the display window, you noticed some of the completed carvings. The majority were of Native American Kachinas and White Buffalo is one of the designs. We are left with patterns of so many different ones along with photographs of the completed ones front, back and side views. There are many different already carved kachina parts ready to assemble into a new Hopi or Navajo style collectible. It is our hope that you know someone who could benefit from our supplies and we would prefer them to be passed on rather than just discarded. Anyone who wants these (for free, of course), please contact Margaret Ryan at 480-802-6535.
