Bob Doehnert and Bob Rose
Do you have a passion to travel and learn and share? If so, come join our initial gathering on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 5 p.m. in the Oakwood Clubhouse Library meeting room. We will be forming a community of folks that love to travel. At our first meeting, we’ll determine:
* Level of community interest
* Monthly or bi-monthly meetings
Volunteers to lead:
* Membership
* Presenters
* IT (computer hookup, sound/lights)
At each meeting, we will have someone present their favorite trip, including a slideshow presentation, followed by questions and answers. Then, we will break up into small groups for open discussion, with a different topic for each group.
There will be no selling of anything to anyone. Nobody will be allowed to market any type of business for profit. Rather, this will be an open share of pleasurable experiences.
Initially, we will not be arranging any club trips; however, this could be encouraged to evolve in the future. The primary focus of our community will be to gather and share.
