Pickleball is bringing IronOaks residents together from all walks of life and from many different backgrounds. Some players are highly athletic and some are simply looking for a fun way to stay active and meet new people. Regardless of your experience or athletic ability, the goal is the same: Have fun!
If you’ve ever thought about giving pickleball a try, this is your opportunity. No experience is necessary. All you need is a good sense of balance, a pair of court shoes, and a willingness to learn.
Experienced IronOaks players will be on hand to introduce you to the game, explain the basics, and help you get started.
The introductory pickleball session will be held Sunday, Oct. 11 from noon to 2 p.m. on the IronOaks pickleball courts behind the Fitness Center.
This opportunity is open to IronOaks residents only.
To reserve your spot, email lindaleeshanahan@gmail.com by Oct. 5.
Stop by our table at the IronOaks Activities Open House in the Ballroom on Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to noon. Say hello and learn more about this fun and friendly sport.
Come give pickleball a try—you might just discover a new favorite activity.
We hope to see you on the courts!
