The first day of league play is getting closer and the Board Members of the Cottonwood Ladies Golf Association (CLGA) are on the move. They’ve been working behind the scenes during the summer to finalize the calendar of events for the 2026-27 season which begins Thursday, Nov. 5.
Deb Bohac assumes the presidential duties after handling the Vice President’s position last year. Deb has also added Tournament Chair to her list of responsibilities this year. Tara Bradford, Vice President, served previously as Member at Large and worked diligently with new members, conducted surveys, and updated the website. Deb Walsh has accepted to serve another year as Secretary and is responsible for the league’s communication. Sue Kish will be serving her second year as Treasurer. Please remember the Board meets the first Thursday of each month in the Phoenix Room at 2 p.m., and all members are encouraged to participate.
Interested in joining CLGA? Online registration will be available at cottonwoodwga.azgolf.org beginning Oct. 1 for new and current members desiring to renew their membership. Don’t forget the Cottonwood/Palo Verde Open House, Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the San Tan Ballroom. CLGA representatives will be there to answer questions and share their experiences of being members of the league.
