CLGA Season Begins November 5

Pat Shouse, Hospitality Rep

The world is full of nice people!

If you can’t find one, then be one … a radio station repeats this phrase several times a day. This is a perfect thought for everyone to keep in mind all day, every day, all year long!

Cottonwood Ladies Golf Association (CLGA) is looking for women ready to spend each Thursday morning on the beautiful Cottonwood golf course to enjoy a round of golf no matter your skill level. The idea is to have fun, visit, make new friends, and maybe enjoy a drink or lunch after the game. The first three weeks of play in November will be fun, collaborative games where you compete as a team. It’s planned this way to help our members build connections.  On-line registration is available at the website: www.cottonwoodwga.org

Also on the website is a contact form to ask questions, give suggestions, or voice concerns. CLGA is striving to strengthen the league and include as many Sun Lakes women as possible. CLGA would love to hear how the league can be improved so please reach out to us. Board meetings are held the first Thursday each month at 2 p.m. in the Phoenix Room in the Learning Center and all members are invited to participate.

Along with Thursday morning golf, the league has scheduled luncheons, patio parties, and special events. Pat Shouse, the league Hospitality Rep, keeps all members informed of needs, concerns, or celebrations of other members. It’s one of the ways the league encourages kindness in the community. Membership registration is open, so now is the time to join if you would like to be a part of our CLGA 18–hole league.
