Shabbat service will be held on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel. The November service, as usual, will honor our veterans and recognize the contributions of Copper State Post 619 of the Jewish War Veterans. Full services are conducted each month, starting in October, except for July and August, on the second Friday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel. Looking ahead, there will be three Adult Education presentations in December from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., on three consecutive Saturdays, beginning on Dec. 12, with the theme of “The Human Condition.” All sessions are held at the Sun Lakes Chapel, with a Kiddush following the presentation.
LAFF is planning to present the original musical comedy The Key to a Good Night’s Sleep on Jan. 23 and 24. Those interested in participating as members of the cast or staff should email Carol at horowitz@windstream.net.
