When you read this message the course will still be closed for overseeding. Our Welcome Back Coffee will be held on Nov. 3 at 9 a.m. in the golf pro shop. If you have someone interested in joining our league, please bring her along. We are always ready to welcome new members. They do not have to live in IronOaks. If they have a handicap, great, if not we will help them with the process of establishing a Handicap Index.
The first day of official play day is Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. Chits will be paid from then through June. Remember it will be cart path only for the first few weeks. So sign up accordingly. If you have a handicap flag you still can not ride on the course.
The General Meeting will be held on Nov. 17 at 9 a.m., in the alcove of Stone and Barrel. The tee time that day is adjusted to 10 a.m.
Please remember these dates so we have all our members in attendance. There is a new method of signing up for golf each week. You should have received a few emails with the process outlined. Please be sure to check your spam mail if you do not see the email from Shirley Moore, our president, or Judy Hedding, our Rules chair.
There will be a sign–up sheet for the Medallion Tournament on our bulletin board. If you are interested please put your name down.
Have you visited our website lately? If not please take a look and it has answers to questions you may have. The address is oakwoodccwga9ers.azgolf.org.
We hope you had a great summer and are looking forward to getting back to some great golf days in IronOaks.
