Our November Luncheon will be held on Monday, Nov. 16 in the Oakwood Ballroom. A representative from the Jason Bickler Foundation will speak about the charity, which is our designated charity for the Jan. 25 Fashion Show Fundraiser. In honor of Veterans Day, those who have served in the military will be acknowledged. Our menu features yankee pot roast accompanied by a farmer’s market salad, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and butter, and apple pie.
It’s that time of year when the Ocotillo Women’s League opens up reservations for the Jan. 25, 2027 annual fundraising Fashion Show. Reservations begin Monday, Nov. 16, and the deadline is Jan. 12. “Just Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” is this year’s theme, and Dillard’s (San Tan) will provide an array of stunning fashions that promises to captivate our attention. The event will be held in the Oakwood Ballroom at 24218 S. Oakwood Blvd. in Sun Lakes. Our featured charity is the Jackson Bickler Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting teens and children facing childhood cancer and other disabilities. Proceeds from the basket raffle, plus a portion of event ticket sales, will be donated to the Jackson Bickler Foundation. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle (three cash winners) and professional dancers from the Fred Astaire Studio. Hurry! This event sold out within four weeks last year. Our Oct. 19 luncheon showcased the activities that are available to OWL members. It was a great opportunity for members and guests to see all that the OWL organization has to offer.
