Hey, Sisk Park bocce ball enthusiasts – the weather may still be hot, but it won’t be by the time November 1 rolls around and the 2015-16 bocce ball competition gets underway.
Players can register by mail from September 1 through October 25, according to club President Irene D’Aloisio. Membership dues are $10 per person for the 2015-16 season that includes two round-robin tournaments and two pot luck luncheons. Mail checks to club Treasurer Beth Derheim, 24649 S. Augusta Ct., Sun Lakes, AZ 85248.
Persons can also register in person by attending the Cottonwood Palo Verde Open House October 17 or at the club’s Wine and Cheese Party at Sisk Park October 25.
Spots for persons who played in last year’s tournaments will be held until October 25.
The club will not be accepting registrations at the Oakwood Open House this year as Oakwood changed the date of its event to October 31. That is the day before the Sisk Park league starts, and placing players into divisions will take place before that date.
Sisk Park Bocce’s fall session will begin November 1 and has been extended for an additional week so working around the holidays to get games in should be easier for players.
