Greetings to everyone interested in Scandinavia. A new year is here, and on Jan. 21 the club’s monthly gathering will be held in the Saguaro Room of the Cottonwood clubhouse in Sun Lakes. Much socializing and sharing of heritage information will make for an enjoyable evening.

At 4:30 p.m. our evening starts with a social hour, accompanied with a cash bar and great appetizers of pickled herring, sausage, and cheese and crackers, all compliments of your club. Come and spend some time with your old friends and meet some new ones during our social hour.

A delicious dinner of beef tips with two sides will be served at 5 p.m., followed by a program involving experiences in Scandinavia. Dinner with dessert is only $25.
