A Country New Year at Women’s Connection

Melody Grace

Kristy DeCleene

Save the date and invite your friends to Women’s Connection’s special event on Thursday, Jan. 11, at 10 a.m. in the Oakwood clubhouse ballroom, at 24218 S. Oakwood Blvd., in Sun Lakes. The program includes a continental breakfast (gluten-free available upon request), as well as live music and our guest speaker and vocalist Melody Grace. In addition, The Crystal Card Project greeting cards will be available for purchase.

The cost is $20, including tax and gratuity, payable at the door by cash or check.

Melody Grace grew up in Amarillo, Texas, and lives with her husband, an oil well firefighter, on 150 acres in Amarillo. She will be sharing the excitement of moving from the city to the country and the challenges of becoming a female senior citizen, in her humorous talk “City Girl Moved to the Country.” Melody will be performing a “Tribute to Patsy Cline” as our special music feature.

The Crystal Card Project greeting cards will be available for purchase before and after this event.

It might be fun to dress “country.” Yeehaw!
