A Message from the IronOaks President

Pat Horning, IronOaks Board President

IronOaks Monthly Newsletter—Happy New Year!

We begin January much like we ended December—with beautiful weather, great friends, and a full calendar of exciting community events. The common phrase we hear this time of year still rings true: “This is why we live here!”

I hope you and your families enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and are ready for a new year filled with plans, memories, and good health.

It’s Board Election Time

A reminder that three board director positions will be open and must be filled by April 1, 2026. We encourage all IronOaks homeowners to consider running in the March 2026 election. Your participation plays a meaningful role in shaping the future of our community.

If you’re not ready for a board position but would still like to get involved, please consider joining one of our committees. We anticipate welcoming many new committee members this year, and your service is always appreciated.

Board Updates

The board continues to work diligently on plans for a remodeled and enhanced Fitness Center, with the goal of bringing the project to the community for consideration and a vote during the first half of the year. As you might imagine, this project involves many details, and we are committed to a thorough and thoughtful approach.

We also expect to begin work this summer on the remodeled Community Maintenance Facility. This important project will be funded through existing Capital and Reserve Funds.

Stay Connected

Several residents have reached out with questions about staying informed, so we are sharing this information again.

To keep up with everything happening in IronOaks, please be sure you’re receiving our weekly “Stay In The Loop” (SITL) email, delivered every Friday. Each edition includes:

• The Lifestyle Schedule of Events: concerts, shows, classes, recreational activities, trips, and more;

• Current dining schedules and specials; and

• Community updates, featured articles, and links to board and committee meetings available for on-demand viewing.

In addition, each Monday the board distributes the “Monday Board Minute,” a brief summary highlighting key topics and discussions currently before the board.

If you’re not already subscribed, please email communications@slhoa3.com to be added to both mailing lists.

Let’s go!

Happy New Year to all! Come enjoy our outstanding amenities and everything that makes IronOaks such a special place to live. We are truly fortunate to call this community home.
