Rev. Jennifer Lambert, Sun Lakes United Methodist Church
January has a way of inviting us to begin again—to find fresh energy, renewed hope, and new rhythms for the year ahead. At Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, we’re stepping into 2026 with joy, connection, and a little bit of fun as we launch our winter Concert Series.
We’re kicking things off on Sunday, Jan. 11, at 3 p.m. with “Dancing Queen,” an unforgettable tribute celebrating the iconic music of ABBA. Whether you grew up dancing to their songs or simply enjoy great live music, this concert is sure to lift your spirits and get your toes tapping. It’s the perfect way to break up the winter quiet and share an afternoon with friends and neighbors. You can purchase tickets at the church office or at the door. They’re a great deal at just $25 per person.
Our annual Concert Series is quickly becoming a highlight of our winter activities—a chance for the community to gather, enjoy exceptional performances, and experience the hospitality that defines our church. Each program this season brings its own flavor, and we’re delighted to offer uplifting music for all tastes.
I hope you’ll mark your calendar now and plan to join us for this lively start to the new year. In a world that often feels heavy, moments of joy matter. Music helps us reconnect with one another, with ourselves, and with the goodness God continues to reveal around us.
May this new year begin with hope, warmth, and maybe even a song that stays in your head long after the concert ends.
Wishing you a beautiful start to the new year.
