Southeast Valley Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) announces the awarding of two college scholarships to graduates of Chandler High Schools for use at Arizona Universities.
Aisha Beck from Perry High School won the $1500 Sharon Johnson Memorial scholarship. She is attending Arizona State University studying Biomedical Sciences.
Jennifer Equihua from Chandler High School was awarded the $1500 Karen Kenyon Memorial Scholarship. She is attending Grand Canyon University pursuing a medical career.
AAUW Southwest Valley Branch meets on the third Monday of the month at the Sun Lakes Methodist Church in Classroom 1 at 4 p.m.
