Adam Guinn, Star of Hale Theatre Productions, Visits SLCT

Adam Guinn from Hale Theatre, Nancy Patterson, and Greg Posniak

Publicity Committee

At a recent Sun Lakes Community Theatre (SLCT) general meeting, Adam Guinn, star of several Hale Theatre productions, including Fiddler on the Roof and See How They Run, among others, spoke to attending members. He shared his experiences in New York theaters and how he took a 16-year break from acting before returning to the stage for a part in Oklahoma, which reignited his love for the craft. He’s never looked back and has been acting in nearly all of Hale’s productions. He gave his views on a variety of aspects, from how to prepare for an audition to his respect for his fellow actors. His experience with both community and professional theater gives Adam a unique outlook, and he was generous with both his time and advice.

Sun Lakes Community Theatre is a nonprofit theatre consisting of volunteers who love theater and creating entertainment for Sun Lakes residents and nearby communities. They meet monthly, October through April, and have been in existence since the early 1980s. They also sponsor the Children’s Theatre and The ImproVables, a comedy improv group.
