African American Association of Sun Lakes

Past Jazz in the Park and Cookout. Always a fun event. All are welcome.

African American Association of Sun Lakes (A.A.A.S.L.) was founded Sept. 1, 2001, by a small group residing in Sun Lakes, Ariz., who wanted to connect, both culturally and socially, with others having like interests and backgrounds. As a group, one of their goals was to proudly showcase and share the African American culture with other Sun Lakes residents, thereby achieving cross-cultural enrichment.

A.A.A.S.L. is a non-profit organization with the objective of bringing together, in a spirit of fellowship, individuals residing in Sun Lakes and within a 100-mile radius of Sun Lakes, Ariz., seeking recreation and social interaction, and who will function within the guidelines of the Association.

Anyone who would like to join can send a check for $20 (dues are $20 per person, and membership runs Sept. 21, 2021, to Sept. 21, 2022) with your full name (please print), email address, and phone number. Mail to P.O. Box 13114, at the Chandler Ocotillo Station in Chandler, AZ, 85248.
