The Sun Lakes American Legion Post 55, James O. Schroeder, is back in season once again and encourages all veterans from all branches of our Armed Forces and the spouses of veterans to join us on the third Tuesday of the month. Our objective is to provide Sun Lakes veterans and veterans in the surrounding communities with veteran services and information of benefits and veteran social events offered to those who have served. Our meeting is much more than conducting business; it is also a social gathering of veterans sharing old memories and just meeting new folks within the Sun Lakes and the surrounding communities!

We look forward in meeting you at our next meeting on November 18; also, remember to join us on November 11 in honor of Veteran’s Day at the flagpole in Sun Lakes Country Club; refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
