I am proud as President of St. Stevens Ladies Guild to announce that Anne De Rose, a Ladies Guild member, received the Woman of the Year award from the Phoenix Diocesan Council of Catholic Women. Anne is a member of St. Steven’s Church, the Ladies Guild and the Respect Life Committee.

Anne is an excellent role model for all Catholic women. She does so much for the Ladies Guild and St. Steven’s Parish through her devotion, hard work, respect and service. Women like Anne are beacons of light in today’s world.

Anne DeRose received the award on June 18 at St. Simon and Jude Cathedram Hall in Phoenix. Bishop Olmsted celebrated a 9:30 a.m. mass and at the celebration luncheon Anne was presented with the Woman of the Year award.
