“Let’s Cruise into Cabi Fashions” is the theme for the annual Fashion Show, luncheon, and basket raffle to be hosted by the Ocotillo Women’s League (OWL). The Jan. 26, 2026, fundraising event will be held at the Oakwood Country Club ballroom in Sun Lakes, with doors opening at 9:30 a.m. Reservations open on Nov. 17, with the reservation deadline being Jan. 13, 2026. The Fashion Show will feature OWL models who will showcase new releases in cruise wear and the spring line by Cabi. The luncheon will feature a delicious plated lunch, including dessert, table favors, a no-host bar, and a 50/25/25-split cash raffle. Great music, along with dancers from the Fred Astaire Chandler Studio, will make this a fun and unforgettable experience.
Beautiful gift baskets (approximately 30) will be raffled off, with proceeds benefitting Starbright Foundation. Starbright provides services to Valley youth who have been exposed to domestic violence, sex trafficking, pornography, abuse, or neglect.
Ocotillo Women’s League is a nonprofit, social-service organization with something for everyone. Activities include a book club, bunco, canasta, community service, Mah Jongg, a movie group, plus other special events. The Community Service group’s mission is dedicated to helping nonprofit organizations and individuals, and together with the general membership, they make a difference through volunteering and charitable giving to our community. We have many fundraising and donation opportunities throughout the year.
The Ocotillo Women’s League was founded in 1997 with the membership from the areas of Chandler, Ocotillo, and Sun Lakes. Our monthly luncheons are held in the Oakwood Country Club ballroom in Sun Lakes on the third Monday of the month, unless otherwise notified. We always have a featured speaker or entertainer, a cash raffle, drawings for prizes, and plenty of time to catch up with your OWL friends. The OWL newsletter is distributed monthly, except for July and August.
