Sarah Welp, Angela Bailey, Helene Rusk and Kay Stanicek of P.E.O. Group B and C are ready to welcome others to the annual P.E.O. Coffee!

The annual P.E.O. Coffee will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4 in the Navajo Room of Sun Lakes Country Club. Coffee, fruit and pastries will be served during the meet and greet time.

Sue Sossaman, Chandler P.E.O. Chapter AF, will show and give the history of several family quilts. Mrs. Sossaman is a native Arizonan from an east valley pioneer family and has delighted our group with stories of the “early” days in the east valley at a previous coffee.

P.E.O. is a philanthropic, educational organization where women celebrate the advancement of women, educate women through scholarships, grants, awards and loans and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.

P.E.O. members, guests, visiting P.E.O.’s, quilters and anyone who would enjoy this glimpse into our past are urged to attend. The cost is $2 per person and reservations are not necessary.
