The 12th Annual Hope Charity Battle of the Badges keeps on growing. Your Sun Lakes Rangers were a Gold Sponsor of the flag football game between Maricopa County First Responders and Pinal County First Responders on April 29. Held at the Mesa Community College Stadium, this event is not just about bragging rights—it raises money for first responders who have been injured in the line of duty. The honorary co-captains this year were injured officers Scottsdale PD Sgt. Scott Galbraith and Gilbert Officer Rico Aranda. In addition, Youth for Troops held 40 U.S. flags on the field for player introductions.
