Beat the Heat with Cottonwood Ceramics Group

Dannette Hunnel

Uh-oh, summer is on the way. Wondering how you will stay active during the heat? Consider the Cottonwood Ceramics Group. We meet on Tuesdays in Room A-8 from 9 a.m. to noon. No experience is necessary. We all pitch in to help you. All that is needed is a piece of either greenware, bisqueware, or plaster of Paris. These pieces are available online or at Michael’s or any ceramic store in the Valley. All other creative materials are supplied to complete your project. We have three kilns available. This is not a class. Pick your own project and work at your own pace. No commitments are required. Missing a Tuesday session for appointments, illness, or vacations is fine. Arriving late or leaving early is always acceptable. Dues are $10 monthly ($2.50 a session). Dues go toward replenishing liquid supplies such as paint, soap, glaze, etc. Come join us in the air conditioning.
