On Wednesday, April 9, the Computer Booters Club will meet in the Phoenix Room of the Cottonwood Computer Learning Center at 6:30 p.m. to learn about some of the Best Microsoft Product Alternatives. The program will be given by Rob Truman. Microsoft Office remains the most popular productivity suite for documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and more. But with the recent $30 price increase for Microsoft 365 subscriptions, many are opting for alternative solutions. Join us as we explore a range of alternative competitors that have become increasingly attractive, besides their pricing being more competitive. Some are even free to use and work on both Windows and Macintosh. Don’t be fooled—the title “open source” is not synonymous with lower quality. Plus, many of these options are fully compatible with their Microsoft counterparts.
Computer Booters is a local technology user group, and our meetings are open to all. Check out our calendar for our current events and updates at computerbooters.org/calendar.
