Welcome, photographers, to the beginning of spring. Get ready for exploring your adventurous side.

Photography Tips and Tricks: Split toning is the process of adding different colors to the shadows and the highlights of an image. It can be used to create an emotional feel or to replicate vintage film-processing techniques. Try it on your next image.

Featured Images: The Old Scottish Church, by Linda Davis, received a second-place recognition in Techniques-Prints, Class A. Linda came upon this religious structure during her travels to Scotland. Shelley Hughes’ Moth Orchid garnered a third place in Techniques-Digital, Class B. Ying and Yang captured Dan Dragoon’s eye with its subtle curves and light being filtered by surrounding leaves. Dan’s use of a 200mm lens rendered a flat perspective and created the illusion of a disk divided by the “S curve.” His pink flamingo was awarded first place, Rotating-Digital, Class A. Congratulations, members!
