The 2022-23 bocce season kicked off with our annual Wine and Cheese event on Oct. 30, and competitive play began the following day. We had a terrific day for our event with our usual great membership turnout.

The members learned at the event that Coulter Motor Company is expected to continue their sponsorship of the Bocce Club for the 2022-23 season, and that this year marks the first time that the Bocce Club has exclusive playing time on two of the four courts, which will lead the way for advance court scheduling of matches in the near future.

While it’s too late to register and play the first session, for those interested, you will be able to register for the second session starting Dec. 1 through Jan. 8, 2023. Those interested can complete a registration form at our club’s website, www.sunlakesbocceclub.com, and pay the $25 registration fee online, which covers the cost for a two-person team for the second session. The second session kicks off on Jan. 16 and concludes on March 19, followed by our second session Potluck Awards Banquet to be held on March 26.
