Are you or a loved one anticipating surgery for breast cancer or a lumpectomy? If so, Sun Lakes Country Club has a special gift for your post-op recovery.

This pillow is designed to bring comfort in the weeks following your surgery. It is placed underneath the arm where surgery has taken place and is held in place by a piece of elastic. This relieves pressure on the incision site. Another use for the pillow is to place it underneath the car seatbelt, alleviating pressure on the breast.

It is important to request your pillow prior to surgery so you may get the maximum benefit immediately following surgery.

This month, we received a most generous donation of time and materials from Ardith Worrell of the Sew N Sews who not only donated fabric and elastic, but also cut out and sewed together 18 hearts to be stuffed and given away. Thank you so much, Ardith; bouquets to you!
