Please try the email first if you have access to a computer. Fees for the game are $6.00/person if you are a member of the club or $7.00/person if not a club member. Yearly membership is $10.00 which is due before the end of 2016 to get your info into the membership book.
As a reminder, in season, the room fills up quickly, so you may want to come much earlier to insure that you are not turned away because of a full room.
This month’s top scorers are: Chuck Quenneville and Janet Daling with a 72.76% game; Steve Mansfield and Larry Anfinson with a 72.74% game and David Rankin and Allan Deserpa with a 72.54% game. The competition keeps getting tougher! Congratulations to all the winners.

Sun Lakes Novice Bridge
Susan Stewart
The 99er/199er Board Representative is Susan Stewart, 480-895-6385. All games are held at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 23914 S. Alma School Rd., unless otherwise announced.
The 0-99er Novice Group meets Thursday mornings with a special review lesson which begins at 8:15 a.m., and Director Maria Davis will provide great teaching and playing experience for all those interested in learning or coming back to the great game of bridge. Partners are suggested but not required – Newcomers are welcome and encouraged to attend and to enjoy this excellent opportunity.
The 0-199er Intermediate Group games are held on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30 p.m., and Saturday mornings at 9:00 a.m. if there is a large enough turnout, and during the snowbird season, you will enjoy a large number of Intermediate players. When the Intermediate Group is too small, usually summertime, they play in the Open Games; however, any player is always welcome to attend all Open Games. All players must check in no later than 15 minutes before the start of any game in order for Directors to seat you properly. However, you may be turned away if you arrive late or if the room has been filled to capacity, so it is advisable to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of games.
Partnership Coordinators and Unit Information: Sun Lakes Unit 351 will always assist you if you need a partner. Contact our partnership coordinators at [email protected] and provide your information. Bonnie Butler for Novice/Intermediate Games, and Eileen Utter and Barbara Lubsen for Open/Novice/Intermediate Games; however, all these ladies go to great effort to accommodate all players. For information on Sun Lakes Unit 351, check online at www.unit351.com, click the Clubs tab, click on Sun Lakes, and you will find many links for all information, schedules and results. Plan to come and be part of a great organization.
Monthly Hint — When your partner bids and you must Alert, did you know that after you say “Alert,” it is not necessary to explain the bid unless your left-hand opponent indicates that they wish it to be explained?
