Sun Lakes VFW Auxiliary to Post 8053 will once again hold a Buddy Poppy Drive on November 18. Volunteers will be distributing poppies on that day in front of area businesses.

VFW Buddy Poppies are assembled by disabled, needy and aging veterans in VA hospitals, state veterans’ homes and domiciles across the country and purchased by local VFW posts to distribute. The majority of proceeds from each Buddy Poppy Drive held by VFW posts and their auxiliaries are used to provide services for local veterans and their families. Please look for these hardworking volunteers on November 18 and take a poppy to show your support for our troops!
