Calling All Sun Lakers—Part 2

Sharon Gerdik, Member, SLCT Board of Directors

Hopefully, some of you had the opportunity to read an article I had published in the May edition of the Splash regarding an extensive description of our Sun Lakes Community Theatre group (SLCT). We would love to increase our membership, and I explained the many ways we could use your help. Talents come in a variety of ways and in different shapes, sizes, and ages. Talents can be natural, creative, artistic, intellectual, physical, or social. If you still have your May 2024 Splash edition, you can reference the article on page 18, middle left-side column. If you no longer have that publication, you can email me at [email protected] and I will send you the Word or PDF document. It explains a lot about our group.

This is a fun group that includes the play productions, the Children’s Theatre, as well as the ImproVables. We would love to have you join us as a member. The annual dues are $20 per person, and as a member, you receive our monthly Asides emailed newsletter, which provides updates on all the shows and important reminders of our activities. We also have two events a year. One is usually before our snowbird members leave in April, and the second one is our December Holiday Party. We also have a few general membership meetings a year, which start with a social time for members. You may be surprised at how easily you could fit in.

Please enjoy your summer, and reach out to me and let me know if I can answer any SLCT questions or concerns. If you don’t know me by now, you need to know that I always have an answer! (chuckle)
