‘Catch Me If You Can’ Promises to Thrill

Sun Lakes Community Theatre’s spring show is shaping up to be an exciting ride you won’t want to miss. Director Diana Nelinson is pleased to announce her upcoming mystery/thriller/comedy Catch Me If You Can to be performed Wednesday, April 27, through Sunday, May 1. The shows will be in the San Tan Ballroom in Cottonwood. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and Sunday’s matinee will be at 1 p.m. The ticket price is $16.

Cast members include Kate Turner playing the lead female role of Elizabeth Corbin, Maria Blanding truly pretending to be Mrs. Parker, Lorin Hicks ably acting as Daniel Corbin, Mario Carranza religiously playing Father Kelleher, Rich Paladino slyly being Detective Levine, Michael Carter portraying Sidney (the delicious deli owner), and Dennis Dennehl owning the part of Mr. Parker (a rich car dealer and owner of the chalet in which the mystery unfolds).

This play, based on a couple on their honeymoon, starts off with the husband attempting to get the local authorities to look for his missing wife. When the town’s clergyman shows up with a woman claiming to be the missing wife, things get interesting. Is Mr. Corbin losing his marbles? Is Mrs. Corbin, in fact, planning the demise of her new husband? Can the detective get to the bottom of this mystery? It’s a fast-moving, spine-tingling story that you won’t want to miss.

Tickets are available beginning April 6 by going online to [email protected] or calling 480-382-6290. Mark these days now so you don’t miss out!
