On Tuesday, July 11, Hien Nguyen, MD-MPH, will speak at the Sun Lakes Rotary Club’s breakfast meeting. Dr. Hien Nguyen is an Australian-born physician of Vietnamese descent. He graduated from the University of Melbourne, Australia, with High Distinction, where he received his Bachelor’s and Medical Degree and trained with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons. The title of his talk is, “How to Live to One Hundred.”
Dr Nguyen is passionate about empowering individuals to great states of health and wellness through compassion, true patient centered approach and the use of innovative methods to redefine the patient experience. His expertise in lifestyle, preventive and wellness medicine has been founded in working with some of the top wellness institutions and thought leaders in the world, including as a research physician at Harvard’s Mind-Body Medicine Institute and with collaborators such as Professors Dean Ornish and Kenneth Pelletier. His other certifications and training include the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, the Institute of Functional Medicine, Wellcoaches and the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
Dr Nguyen brings additional expertise in technology and healthcare innovation, with graduate degrees from the Harvard School of Public Health and Harvard Business School. Under the tutelage of Harvard’s Professor Regina Herzlinger, he led a number of healthcare and wellness innovation projects and was part of the product team at MIT’s Sana Mobile, which won awards from the Health Alliance and Vodafone for its global telehealth platform.
On Tuesday, July 25, Sandra Hudson, President of TrustBank Arizona and CEO of Wealth Management for TrustBank, will be the speaker. Presiding as President of Arizona and CEO of Wealth Management for TrustBank, Sandra previously held the post of East Valley President for Northern Trust for seven years. Prior to Northern Trust, she was a managing executive for private client services with US Bank for 14 years.
Hudson has tenured 30 years of Executive Banking and Wealth Management leadership to guide the Arizona market and TrustBank’s Wealth Management organization. She defines community philanthropy through her exceptional women’s executive career role as a recognized steward in wealth management, education and advocacy. Sandra founded Women and Wealth, a women’s outreach group to empower women through financial education. She has served on the Executive Board Member of East Valley Partnership and was former Board Chair of Fresh Start Women’s Foundation East Valley and board member of Fresh Start Women’s Foundation Phoenix. Currently, she serves as a Board Member of the Mesa Arts Center, Mesa United Way, Dignity Health Foundation and is a Co-Founder and Board Member of Positive Paths Non-Profit Organization. Sandra also currently chairs the Dignity Health Power of the Purse. A requested guest speaker, Sandra has spoken at Women’s Council of Realtors, Dignity Health Women’s Physicians, Oakwood Women’s League, St. Vincent, Sun City West Investment Club, Positive Paths and numerous Financial Advisor’s Women’s Seminars.
She is considered an expert on women’s financial issues on Law Review Radio. Sandra has a passion for philanthropic engagement, traveling, reading and spending time with her family.
