Cottonwood Country Club was the place to be on a lovely Sunday afternoon in June when Cheers Singles celebrated the quarterly birthday party for its members. A Fourth of July theme made it special; thanks Marjean Scheele for putting this together for us every three months! The staff at Cottonwood has been so accommodating to us, thanks so much! Always a great event with lots of Cheers folks attending the party – the smiling faces shown here are a year older (but who counts anymore)?

The hot summer is well upon us but Cheers continues to function all year long. Weekly socials are held on Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. at Ironwood Country Club; come and visit us. Meet new singles in your community and join in our events. The monthly fun dining with friends continues with new places to enjoy dinner with friends, Hand and Foot, Book Club, Bridge and wine tasting brings us together for some fun evenings. Richard Lewin is our Activities Planner and brings many activities where we can travel with a group for both long and short trips to explore so check out the bulletin board for suggestions.

Cheers Singles Club is open to all single residents from Sun Lakes, Springfield and SunBird. Come visit us at the social for more information or call Ginny Marr at 883-0600 or Richard Lewin at 525-3630 to ask your questions if you can’t make the social with us. Have fun and enjoy the summer!
