Cheers Singles celebrated the holiday season with the 60 Plus group at Oakwood Country Club on December 3 for an evening of dining and dancing. Always in a festive mood this time of year with friends, enjoying the social event when the ladies wear their pretty gowns and the men get to wear our suits and ties for a change! The Clubhouse was nicely decorated, service was very good and of course with Thaddeus Rose and his band playing music we had a great evening. Thanks Laurie Starr for putting this event together with the 60 Plus Club – good work!

Cheers is a singles club for residents of Sun Lakes, Springfield and SunBird. We have both large and small events throughout the year and the socials held at the Oakwood Country Club every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in the Lounge are very popular.
