The Sun Lakes Republican Club will again be hosting our “always sold out, ever-popular” annual Christmas Dinner Dance on Wednesday, Dec. 16! This year we will be offering our club members an “Early Bird Special” to thank them for their support and membership in the Club! All SLRC members will be able to reserve and purchase their favorite table nearest the dance floor or stage or buffet table! Tables for members will go on sale Aug. 1 through 31, before the tickets go on sale to the general public on Sept. 1. Due to high demand for our social event and fabulous entertainment by the amazing Harry Mathews, tickets always sell out early. All tickets are sold in advance, and we recommend that you reserve your table (or single tickets in September) as soon as possible.
Our Dinner Dance theme this year is “Cowboy Christmas”, so be sure to wear your best cowboy or fun holiday attire to kick up your heels! The buffet menu will include delicious baby back ribs and roasted chicken, baked potatoes, hot vegetable medley, cowboy baked beans, corn bread, and America’s favorite apple pie. Coffee and iced tea are provided, with a cash bar. Doors at the Cottonwood San Tan Ballroom will open at 5 p.m., with buffet dinner at 6 p.m., and entertainment until 9 p.m. for your dancing and listening pleasure. Be sure to Save The Date!
Tickets will go on sale for members to reserve their table of ten guests for $500 on Aug. 1. To reserve a table, all ten tickets must be purchased at one time, with a list of ten guest names provided. To host a table, simply submit your email, phone number, and list of guests’ first and last names with your check made payable to SLRC and send it to our Secretary, Patricia PK Koepp, 9621 E. Glenside Ct., Sun Lakes, 85248. Her email for questions is DancesWithBunnies@MYCTL.net. Tickets for reserved tables for non-club members and individual $50 tickets will go on sale on Sept. 1. All tables and individual tickets are sold on a “first come, first seated basis”.
The ticket-holders list will be at the door on the night of the event, in alphabetical order. No tickets are mailed. In fairness to all ticket holders, doors will not open until 5 p.m. No tickets are sold on event night, and no refunds can be made.
